There's a Roland Sands-modified Tuono too that the stunta dude Britton rides now and then. Not bad of a custom job on the Tuono (it's still functional unlike that poor Duckie), but the color sucks. Italian bikes shouldn't be wearing paint jobs that look like American hotrods.

Used to have a 2nd gen RSVR and liked it, but I sold it because I didn't like the shape of the fuel tank (the lip was too high), and it needed a complete suspension re-spring and revalve that I wasn't willing to pay for. It also had electrical/starting issues, and got only 30-32 MPG.

I think you're the first person I've heard complain about the stock RSVR suspension. What was the problem? Was it an abused bike, or are you really fast?

Here's a proper Italian job. AF1 Racing was kind enough to pull mine out of the line-up for a nice photo.

Don't ask, don't tell. And it isn't going to sport a Cali license plate...

I'm pretty light so the springs were too stiff for my weight, it did not absorb anything, yet at the same time the forks had too much brake dive (felt like they were low on oil), they seemed to have too much stiction as well, did not feel good no matter what settings I tried, and the shock felt like it had lost all of its damping due to heat exposure from the exhaust, which several other people on the Aprilia board have complained about too. At the time I also had an R6 and I liked it better so I sold the Aprilia.
