Screwed!
OK so I am a procrastinator. My chain and rear sprocket needed replacing and I am broke so I wait till after Christmas to splurge. I get the whole kit and tires too as they are overdue.
I waited 2 months, and as I had my rear wheel off for the rear sprocket replacement, I wasn't riding and the battery runs down. So last night I put the bike back together sans front tire (I have no front stand so I have to let the dealer do it) and removed the tank to jump the battery (Damn Kawi engineers mounted the battery backwards and you can't get to the positive post to charge). Then I take it around the block to charge her up and run over a screw in the road (it was dark 30). At least the fucker went thru the front tire and not my new rear. Now I have to get it aired up enough to make it the 3 miles to the dealership before I am back on the road good as new.

You have a garage....get some tie downs and hang it from the rafters. I do it all the time I just run a 4x4 across a bunch of rafters and loop the tie downs over the 4x4.
Better than riding with a screw in the tire. A tire plug would also seal it up tight. |

I can do the wheel change thing amillion times but I had to take it for the chain as I don't have a 21mm socket or air wrench for the front sprocket and I don't have a chain rivet tool...So I figure the tires ar $45 mounted and balance either way and just drove it down there...Should be good to go this afternoon!
