How often do you get out this way? I just made my 2 years here, so far i'm loving it. The first 2 months i loved it, then i started hating it because i missed NYC so much and i was desperately trying to move out. Then it kinda grew on me more and more like fungus. I'll prob be here for a little bit, cost of living is relatively cheap for what you can get. Vegas is not where i want to be forever though, but its a nice stopping ground.

I've never looked into finance here, but when i was looking at corporate jobs, they don't really pay. They offered me 30k for a marketing job a while back, made me laugh. I would have gotten paid 2x as much in NY or San Francisco for the same job responsibilities.

The money is still in service based jobs here, unless you go into sales.

I've actually never been there, but from what everyone tells me and research, i'm 99% sure I would love it. I'm from the Midwest, anything will pay better than here. Cost of living is cheap as shit also though.

Seems like most of the NY crew stayed put, they rareley ever ventured out of the ny forum anyway so they kinda missed all of this stuff. BBQ chef hasnt been on much latley either. I was at the restaurant on tuesday but he wasnt there. I was upstate again today but didnt make my way over there either.

I lived in Springfield MO for ~11 years... Vegas will be sensory overload + crack for you but you will LOVE it. Which college are you at?
