Nothing at all wrong with brake upgrades - but what you described sounds like a blown master-cylinder (piston), and lines/pads/rotors won't help that. Now, a Brembo RCS, on the other hand.....

HOw the hell did you do that to your brakes in only 8000 miles? How long *should* they last?
I have about 24,000 K on my bike and brakes are fine. But you know me....I'm all for upgrading! |

Lil Update...It was a Bent Rotor...The Bike almost took a dive off the Trailer on the way home...And the wheel chock got wedged between the rotor...Which in turn bent the rotor...so when I would be sitting still the Brakes would have full pressure...then when the wheel rolled forward and the rotor hit the pads being ebnt it would push the pads out and I would lose brake pressure until I pumped them up again...Rinse repeat over and over...
Fucking Stupid Fuckup...but whatever.
