You got that right! At least with that phone, you can be a leader instead of a follower, if you can wait until early next year for your phone.

Speaking of the Satio, I pushed your idea through the ranks some more today. Mixed bag of reactions so far, but I'll keep you posted!

I like Ericsson, in fact I have an older one now, but the question is, how much will it cost......Also, will it be a slider phone, if so, it's probably a no-deal for me. Can't stand how most slider keyboards feel like they're about to break off.

It's not a slider, it's a touch tablet (like iPhone) with 3 keys at the bottom (Send/Menu/End). It also has a 12.1MP camera and Xenon flash; takes really good photos, especially when you consider it's in a phone.

Just seach for Satio or Idou and you'll see a lot of info on it.

Looks good! It doesn't say or I missed it but does it do HD video like the Samsung? Also, is there any word on what networks or price yet?

I have the iPhone 3G (didn't upgrade to the "S" model) and updated to the 3.0 software. The next time I'm eligible for an upgrade, I'll probably go to the 3GS and give my wife the 3G

I like it so far, hopefully this and the phones lined-up behind it will turn our US presence around.

No HD video on that one and no official announcement on what carriers will pick it up (and therefore no price). With any luck there will be a follow-up announcement with those details in a couple months.

Thanks! If I'm not mistaken T-Mobile carries a couple Sony phones so I'll keep my fingers crossed! I'm up for upgrade in about 3 months. I don't know, I'm still scared of touch screen but at least I'll have the ins/warranty!
