Handle every stressful situation like a DOG: If you can't eat it or hump it, pi$$ on it & walk away.

I was riding with a buddy of mine, we came around a blind corner and there was a dead animal in the road being eaten by vultures. He managed to miss the dead animal, but got center-punched by a vulture trying to take off and GTFO.

Are you familiar with a vultures self-defense mechanism? It regurgitates, rapidly and in large volumes. This was a ride south of Jax and the guy lived in GA. He had to ride home with him and his bike covered in vulture vomit. He ended up throwing the jacket away.
