not IMO, the 98-02 were the last of the greatness for the VFRs. they suck nowadays.

chain driven cams. blech vtec. blech styling. blech price. blech I would say the 98-02s were the best ones ever(with the 86-88s a close second)

Here we go again. You guys seriously think the first pic looks better than the second? You're on crack.
![]() I think you guys are just saying "I hate the new engine so I'm gonna hate its styling too" Last edited by Homeslice; 08-26-2009 at 11:19 AM.. |

I'm not a fan of either. The second one is so ugly that by default I am forced to chosse the first. The previous bike shits all over both of those: ![]()

![]() ![]() I'm partial to the 5th gen myself (with plenty of tweaking), but I'm admittedly a bit biased: ![]() As for the 7th gen 1200 - like all other bikes previews I see in mags or on the net, I'll look at them but reserve judgment until I actually see it in person and have a chance to ride it. ![]() |

You are all crazy!!! You have to be an idiot to build a single sided swing arm bike and then put the exhaust in front of the wheel!!!

Are we all going to argue about aesthetics and styling or shall we look deeper into what is a very interesing specimen. Variable cylinder tech with ability to run as a twin, triple, or V4? Semi auto double clutch gearbox with 3 ECU modes including automatic? Probably more ECU processing power than the space shuttle, no doubt the latest gen anti-lock, who knows traction control, ? Think about what these developments could do for the future of motorcycles and how his could be the biggest new thing in decades...
