Oh I didn't mention that the lid has been dropped about 10 times and the side cover is missing on one side.

No...Suomy fits like a rectangular (oval) type head....Shoei is for the round head.

shaving cream def works for no fog on mirrors in the bathroom while taking a shower-worth a shot, id try it on my shield but i got a scorpion, it already doesnt fog.
if the rain doesnt bead up and run off the outside of the visor, just go faster lol if you went the intl bike show, there was a product someone was selling, claimed it fixed scratched cd's, stopped fogging in helmets, and some other stuff. worked really good on the visor in the demonstration. dont remember the name but maybe this will help jog someone elses memory...

I have Scorpion Helmets which come standard with a fog-free coating, but I also keep Fog-Tech (http://www.amazon.com/FogTech-Anti-f.../dp/B001JR4CIO) in my tank bag for really foggy days. If you don't have a shield with ant-fog properties, I used to use Fog-City inserts (http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcyc...ty-progrip.htm) with great success for rainy/wet mountain riding.
