It makes it worse as it causes the oil glands to go into high gear. Wash ur face 2 times a day, but did you change soap?

try over the counter acne stuff like proative. if it doesnt help, see a derm, they got all kinds of tricks.

Proactive worked well for me too.
Oddly enough, just using Gillette after shave gel has been keeping everything in check for a while now. I'm lazy and I only shave every few days, but I throw it on every day regardless.
