The wife and I did something similar this past weekend...just riding around and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Only problem is when the wife's low fuel light came on...we weren't real sure of where we were plus it was Easter Sunday. All worked out though...we rode by a place finally with about 50 Harley's in the parking lot and two gas pumps !!

If you still have gas, you're not lost yet.

Don't know. The Paperclip Project is in Whitwell, TN, which is NW of Chattanooga. It's on Hwy 28.

I always loved doing that. So much fun to just explore.

I'm in NE Bama. The backroads between Atlanta and Huntsville are really great. I would recommends heading north through the Blue Ridge, up to Chattanooga, down lookout mountain, hit Little River Canyon in my neck of the woods, then backroads to Buck's Pocket and Lake Guntersville, that gets you close to Huntsville. Then from Huntsville, head north through middle TN to Drewpy's area.
