Not a bad idea as a gift for someone when you don't know what to get them and they live in another state.

We received a box from them two years in a row at Christmas from some friends in another state. When it arrived I thought WTF but after opening the box and grilling the steaks...burgers...dogs...and stuffed potatoes I thought...pretty good idea.

They run specials like this...

They send me catalogs occasionally but that only started after someone sent me some as a gift. The same thing happened when someone sent me Legal Sea Foods as a gift (they are expensive too).

Looking on their web site right now.

32 4oz. burgers $39
S/H for said burgers $14

$53 for 8 lbs of frozen burgers = $6.63 / lb.

You call that very cheap?

I am talking about the letter I get in the mail almost every year, offering 30-40 steaks & burgers for only like $39.99 or something like that.

I wouldn't do it as I get good ground beef here for around half that once shipping is factored in. If that is cheap for you though you may want to try it some time. Their stuff is pretty good.

Being 3:45 in the morning when I saw this thread title I first read it as "Free Obama Steaks". Which, of course, really wouldn't be free at all.

Time to go back to bed. Off to Orlando in the morning and hitting Daytona on the way back home to pick up the Triple.
