see I'm right handed... but left eye dominant... I know my dad (being left handed) taught me to do everything left handed until I was about 10... then I switched... but according to him I was always right handed... but he just wanted me to be ambidextrix

I'm a shitty pistol shot... then again... I always seem to fight myself and try to use my right eye...

close it and turn your head slightly right. also pistols take LOTS of muscle control in your hands. scooping up a hand gripper can do wonders for ya

see i got in the habit of twisting by body and bringing the pistol infront of my eye... not turning my head to get my eye behind the pistol... dunno if that make any diffrence...
I've only shot my dad's .45 4 or 5 times when I was like 18... and the 9mil before I deployed. hit the target... but the groupings sucked... especially compaired to when I shoot rifle... even when using a support |

i prefer the weaver stance because it lets you lock the firing arm. then you can use that arm as a guide for your chin. the army tends to try and give people shit for using it though since it turns the plates slightly away from the target. i always told those guys to fuck off and that my guys were going to shoot in whatever manner made them the most lethal. always brought everyone home

I am right handed but wear my watch on the left hand. That way if you bend your wrist backwards the crown doesn't dig into your wrist as much... Plus it's just habit.

I'm a lefty, but still wear my watch on the left. Eating and writing are the only things I do left handed though... otherwise all right. |
