Tuning to the ragged edge will get you nothing but more work when you find the next level of stress. Get the bottom end to take it and then you have to look to the valve train, get the valve train to take it and you have to the block, get all that sturdy and to the next level you will find another failure somewhere else (tranny, rear end, axles)...It is nothing but work work work.

If you want the Coupe just buy the V6 breathe on it lightly to give it some spirit and be done. If you want a fire breather rally car just go out and spend the money on something that has already had the R&D done for you...Porsche GT3, Nissan GTR, Ford GT500KR, Corvette, ect. Your going to spend the same amount in the end...

The 20+ year-old Nissan motor has quite often been pumped up beyond 400hp on the stock block...........can this Hyundai do that? Not to mention the cost difference of a new car versus used.

Twenty year old dodge 2.2s can do that. I'm sure the hyundai will have no problems
