I dont CCW and the only time I am in full leathers are track rides or races, but I would think a shoulder holster would be the thing, maybe somehow clipped into a back protector strap? Still if you fall on it, itsa gonna bruise!

You gotta take care of yourself. The cops are only there to clean up the mess.

I almost got bike jacked in suberbian Nashville, got threatened by a redneck with a lead pipe on a mountain ride and almost got attacked by a meth head while at a bike night. It happens....and I live in a safe area compared to some. Some people have it out for bikers. I see it all the time.

And you still have to undo a zipper to get to it in your leathers or in the tank bag. I have not found a perfect option yet. I usually have it holstered in the tank bag then I tuck it in my jacket when I go inside places but then the jacket stays on which sucks.
look into a magnetic tank bag, that way you can just pull it off and keep the gun in your bag the whole time.

Well a truck pulled up with his lights on us right as the guy was in the road holding my arm at a traffic light. I did not had a CCW at the time and if he just wanted the bike he could have had it. Its my life I care about.

The guy with the pipe didn't get close enough before I took off on the bike, helmet around my arm. He had already almost run one of us off the road. CCW does not mean you shoot everybody that threatens you but don't tell me that people don't get killed everyday by violence. If I can and need to protect myself....I will.

People tell me all the time that I dont need a gun. I went to Virginia Tech. I dont need any one to tell me that the lives of the innocent are not taken away every day by criminals. 2 more students lost their lives at VT this past week. And that is a SAFE town.
