I won gripster tank pads in a local contest, but never picked them up.
I am not a track regular, and would probably get a different bike for the track(plus they are ugly), so I didn't want them.

Another vote for the tank slapper.
The 3M material is adhesive backed and not meant to come off. They have a static cling that can be removed at your whim. Even the static cling, if applied properly is nearly impossible to see and can withstand track use without moving around or peeling off.

I had one of those 3M material things........Worked OK, but after a few months the edges became all bubbly/dirty.

I use Pro Grip for about 20 bucks, which seems to work well. Just remember to remove the seat and put the bottom of the material below the seat. If you don't, the bottom will begin to come off.

I am mainly a street rider, and don't hang off, so they were useless to me. Plus I heard they would eat through my jeans.
