so he's just another "good kid" who happened to be standing next to a murderer while holding an unloaded gun (at 17 which is illegal) that was not registered to him, yeah. at least he'll plead his "I lost my whole childhood" case to the media, then he can get his free money from the state for false imprisoning someone who was running the streets with a gun.

And they will be. Unfortunately since all those are directly responsible are employees of the State of New York, ultimately "those responsible" will be the citizens of the State of New York and they will be "dealt with" though higher taxes to pay this guy's settlement.
