And they also just went a round-about way of saying there's 1.3billion Chinese too.

And I find none of it scary. Not even the "advancements of technology" woooo.... I know that stuff is updated, outdated, replaced and made better every single day. I'm glad we have that kind of fast forward thinking and technology, beats the hell out of going backwards.

I think the technology advancement part was intended to be impressive and give perspective to the rate of change moreso than being scary, at least that's what I got out of it.

And I agree, there's nothing scary about 1.3B Chinese. Until they start playing strong-arm politics/economics... or challenge us to a ground war.

I assure you that when the Chinese choose to flex their muscles at us, it will be purely economic, as they now own us. They are our biggest creditor.

That's what I thought too, but that stunt at Copenhagen was straight out of the political power-play book.

And their push to dethrone the USD in oil trades is certainly a sign they're not afraid of flexing their economic muscle either. Whether or not they'll ever go for the jugular I don't know, but I certainly hope not.
