I know for a fact that if you move to Medina you won't absolutely love it.

I've been a lot of places, traveled a lot, and I know what I will love and won't love. I know I probably won't hate it and can make the best of any situation. But I like a city with a lot more to offer than....ohh...1000 people.

Dont look all skeptical, stranger things have happened. It may grow on you, you may meet a man or fall in love with things there.

Define "everything." If leaving everything behind means modern conveniences where I have to poop into a hole in the floor- then no, I don't think I can

But other than that, yes I can up and leave. (If I can bring the dog with me).

That's what I said - and I was talked into moving to Texas. I didn't want to move here, I almost fought it. Now that I'm here - they can't get rid of me, and it would seem they've tried

I know what you're saying....but this isn't like any other comunnity where I'd be living. It's an isolated outpost only accessible by flight (on a teeny plane)! It's kind of a different situation but I do understand what you're saying.

Living in Alaska provides me with tons of opportunities like the one you are looking at. If you can do it and it will improve your financial position, GO FOR IT.

I live in a town of 800 people and at almost a year I still don't know everyone. There will probably lots of drama and gossip to deal with but as long as you have JOB time will fly by.

At this stage in my life, it would be VERY difficult, and would only be done if there were no other options. But, that's because I have a daughter and wouldn't want to be away from her anywhere near that long. Prior to having her in my life, absolutely.
