Okay, so here's the scoop. See this thread: http://www.twowheelfix.com/showthrea...024#post363024
A friend of ours bought a bike from some dude. Dude just so happens to have some old bikes. One of those old bikes just so happens to be a 69 Bridgestone. Friend says, "Hey Heather, you need a parts bike for that BS for free?" I said, "uh....yes." So, we went up to Athens, TX(about 4 hours from us) and picked up the little fella today. He's the same year and engine as the other one, but this guy is the Scrambler edition with the higher pipes, a skid plate thing and a few other random things that are different. We are gonna open up the motor and see if it is shot or not and what it would take to fix it. If it's too much, then it will carry on it's roll as parts bike. If it looks somewhat doable...well then we have the street and scrambler edition of a ridiculously rare bike. Fine by me. |
