The point is that is wasn't on demand. The cop was called for an assault complaint and was investigating it. Then the badass refused to provide ID and was cuffed. So what if the guy didn't do it, he already was interferring with the cops investigation of the assault.

You guys bash on cops (and rightfully so at times), but this cop did nothing wrong IMO.
