LOL. Same here. But if I get in the fire service that will all change.

Surefire E2D LED Defender is about the best bang for your buck in a high end flashlight. I take mine everywhere. (200 lumens for about 135.00)

My next light is going to be a Olight M21.

2 3-cell Maglights
2 2-cell AAA Maglights
There are 3 handcrank flashlights floating around here.
Gotta little red led flashlight on my bike keychain

This look tempting but a bit pricey

Just check your link from techfresh. I am really impressed at the Sunforce 40 Million Candlepower HID Spotlight. I won't mind spare my 180 bucks to get one. What i am using is 3D maglite. the battery life is great but the beam is shitty.

IDK... honestly...

I did watch a documentary on tv about them. The owner went to biz in a very simple way. He first bought the very best cnc machines he could. then he imported the best cnc operator he could find from somewhere in europe.

Then proceeded to make the best flash light he could. The tests they do are awesome. They put them thru extreme heat/cold and button pushes, etc...

Surefire has a new LED similar to the G2 (may even be a variation) that gets 12hrs continuous use versus the 40 minute use of the regular bulbs. It may be a little pricey for a pocketsize flashlight but IMO well worth it. Our squadron just swapped over from the G2's and Aviators to the new LED so if youre interested I can get the specifics on it...

They are a bit more than your standard AA, but not too bad.

About $2 each. I use 123 batteries everyday.
