Maryland Attorney General Upholds Right to Video Traffic Stops
“No appellate decision in Maryland specifically addresses the application of that law to recording of police activity,” McDonald wrote in his opinion.

Good.
Everytime I see that video it bothers me. Uhler should be fired.

Uhler should be fired, and kicked in the fucking balls for getting his buddies to raid Graber's home. Coward.
Invaded the man's fucking home fucking why? Because he showed you being an asshole, for everyone to see? Hmm, maybe the ACLU can now bring a suit about them violating this man's rights, with malicious prosecution. I am AMAZED that this judge was able to realize the incongruity that exists when law enforcement seemingly videotapes EVERYTHING WE DO...but then whines, complains, and even maliciously prosecutes people when the camera is aimed at them. The law applies to EVERYONE. Kudos to McDonald for "getting that".

I'll bet anything that they dont stop enforcing the wiretap laws. This isnt the first case like this, there have been a few others and they always get thrown out, however it is an intimidation factor that they arrest you, put a major disruption on your life, possibly make you loose your job and overall hurt you for making them look bad.

I'm actually surprised by this.
Happy. But surprised.

Prosecutor is still pursuing the charges even though the Maryland AG said it was UNLIKELY the charges would stand

Well, no shock there. Did we really expect them to suddenly stop acting stupid?
When caught acting stupid, the best strategy is always to continue, and further attempt to defend your actions. It guarantees to leave no doubt in anyone's mind just how fucking ignorant you are. This will be thrown out, and I just hope Graber's subsequent civil lawsuit racks up big money, and stupid people get fired where appropriate.
