Default Snake!

Found this little guy in my driveway. Turns out he's just a rat snake.

If that was in my driveway, you can bet that it would be the early makings of a wallet shortly thereafter.

I HATE snakes.

Thats not bad, I can handle that.

We get some at my parents from that are in the 5-6 foot range. Those I don't like. I was taking our tractor through some woods to go bush-hog a meadow, and I knocked a 3' snake out of a tree. It flooped right down on the dash of the tractor and scared the shit out of me.

I probably would've reacted with really excessive amounts of violence at that.

I'm not afraid of snakes, but I don't do well with being surprised, and my "fight or flight" instict seems to be permanently stuck on "fight". My wife blames the Taliban.

Holy crap!!!!

If they stayed on the ground I'd be less afraid of them.

I hate them though. Just hate them.

I saw this guy only 2 weeks after a tree trimmer claims he killed a rattlesnake in my front yard. Oh, and by coincidence he had a service to sell me to repel them.

Anyway, I knew this guy wasn't a rattler but I Googled the heck out of it and figured out he goes after the little mice that like my basement. So, he lives another day. And, hopefully rids me of at least a few rodents.

Oh yeah, he's harmless and you're on the same team. Keep that guy around.
