what kind of antifreeze does he need to put in the bike? He's going to change out the water wetter tonight. (he doesn't have to work anymore)

You can run 50/50 but the 50% H2O needs to be distilled.

Word! distilled water is about a dollar at the super market and you can get any aluminum-safe antifreeze in the auto section.

Just replace it with Engine Ice. It won't freeze and it cools better than a 50/50 mix. $20 per jug. My bike only takes one jug.

why distilled water? I've always used tap water in my truck and never... NEVER had any issues with my cooling system apart from a couple thermostats (8 years old at least) and a 4x4 going through the center of my radiator... but I don't think that had anything to do with the tap water


what's the freezing temp of engine ice Dlit?
