I get to do some cool $#!T.
You know....alot of people complain about their job. I’m one of those people. However, compared to most of the working population I have very little reason to complain.
I’ve got to do some cool things. Recently and in the past. Unless you are 1.) Retarded, or 2.) live in a cave with Osama Bin Laden...then you know we are in the midst of a Presidential/Primary Election campaign. I’m not a fan of the government, Republican or Democrat. However, in the last 2 days both Democratic candidates have come to town. I’ve got to cover them both in one way or another. Being that this is my first Presidential Election as a ’working professional’ this was pretty exciting. I was at the Obama rally in downtown Harrisburg on Sunday. The lines to get in were INSANE. It was like a rock concert...you’d think the Rolling Stones had come to town. Barack and Roll. Secret Service and security in general was pretty crazy for Barack. Yesterday, Hillary came to town...she held a town hall type meeting at a tiny diner outside the city. These buffoons had the media shooting at a wall of mirrors. Smooth move. So they realized their mistake and switched the setup around. Then they packed us in like sardines. Really really tight quarters. Security wasn’t as tight for her, surprisingly, but Secret Service made their presence known. I literally stood less than 10 feet from Hillary Clinton at one point. Oh...and who ever ran audio for that event is a serious doofus. Learn how to do your job. I get paid to take pictures. That can be sort of exciting at times. I left my Obama press pass at work but here is a shot of my Hillary press pass:
