The most fitting word I could come up with.
I can see the eagle being curious, but I really don't think losing a pet is a valid concern. Unless I'm way off base, eagles and predatory birds can only carry a few pounds. So unless it was the runt of a litter of Teacup Poodles, the dog should remain on the ground.
