Default I'm a noob.

So decided to swap the bike over to GP shift to see how I like it. So I go outside take a look at it, think to myself, just gotta take one bolt out rotate the bitch 180 degrees and put said bolt back in. So I grab my wrench and about a min later it's done. I sit on the bike and roll the bike to make sure I'm in N. I push up on the shifter and knock it it first, so far so good it slides right in.

So I kick down on it and it goes back to N. I try to hit it again and it wont go into 2nd. So I get back off the bike and look at the shifter. First thought is maybe I need to adjust the length it must not be long enough after I rotated it. So for the next 30 min I spent adjusting the every damn thing while trying to to the thing to shift. I'd adjust and it'd always shift in one direction but never the other. So I said fuck it and rotated the shifter back to stock location. I got back on the bike and started it up.Kicked it into first, rolled the bike back and forth yet it still wouldn't go into second.

At this point I'm pissed thinking I broke something in the tranny so I walk inside to grab something to drink. Come outside, think for two seconds, and call myself a fucking dumbass. I start up the bike and ride around the yard and get it into second just fine.

Simple answer: Positive Neutral Finder.

Now laugh at my stupidness.
