I don't have a problem with the pricing per se' because I did work for a guy here who bought 20 repo bikes this Summer from an Ohio yard and he paid less than $5000 for '07 GSXR1000s and 'Busas! I saw the invoices. With the economy the way it is,I'm sure there will be plenty of bikes for us to pick up next year too. Most of them come from up north where for most,a bike was an impulse buy that they use very little and that they consider a luxury item. Which,when things get tight,is the first to go.
There are a number of companies that offer to buy your bike for cash. They usually pay like 50-75% of NADA and will even pick it up for you. Nope my big problem is the pics...doesn't it seem suspicious to anyone else that they have "home" pics of these bikes? If these guys got these bikes on repo,I doubt that the previous owners included snapshots of their bikes. |
