My theory is that it's a "catch-22" scenario. At one point in everyone's life, they were nice, decent people... Then *BANG* some asshole or bitch fucks them over and they become an asshole or bitch. My other theory is that someone in the relationship is going to be the bad "guy". It's hard to find a couple where both people are truly in love with each other and looking out for the other's happiness over their own. In fact, the good person in yesterday's relationship can easily be the asshole/bitch in tomorrow's. I've been the best boyfriend in the world and I've been the worst, it all depended on the circumstances.

This is why you will hardly ever find someone who says it's their fault that they are divorced. You always hear about how bad their Ex is... I have yet to find someone who thought their Ex was the bestest and that they were solely responsible for the divorce.
