Ehhh- though I think the 'paddle shifting' mode might be fun to play with, it seems like a lot of technology/componentry to fix something which ain't broke (for a reasonably skilled rider, which is all that really belongs on a bike of that size/power anyway). I think it would be much more 'at home' on a GoldWing, and I could see it being much more of a positive on the true touring bikes. Then again, the FJR has the e-shift model, and the VFR seems to be going the way of the BIG

touring bikes, so I guess it makes some sense. I really would have preferred them to go the other way with a sport-
touring focused bike though.
