I wonder what case that involved (I was searching for about 15 minutes and couldn't find the precedent)... I suspect it was something gang-related or otherwise criminal, as opposed to sexually suggestive photos, but who knows.

My knee-jerk reaction is that the case is bullshit, but after re-reading it I see that they were only suspended from sports, not from classes. That involves a different set of legal standards since it's voluntary. While I'm on the ACLU's side in principle, I think they're pissing into the wind on this one.
