I went to college in Oswego, NY - we'd get a snowstorm and one day the snowbanks would be 12 feet high - you'd go home, go to bed, and wake up and the snowbanks would be gone (carted away with bobcats and dump trucks). It was pretty insane how quickly they'd clean up that city.

I think in those aresa they see much more snowfall and are adept at handling the situation wherea sdown in the burbs you hear blizzard and the worlds going to end.
