UK wants to set up some oil rigs. Argentina says hey thats ours!!
All eggheads and bloggers look at the US.
We say "Thats between the British and the Argentinians."
As the months go on...we eventutally say
"Hey assholes....why don't you guys sit down and work something out"
Meanwhile in the background our diplomats are working boths sides of the table trying to get the two parties to work it out...despite our official (and appropriate) position that we will not choose sides in this particular property dispute.

Meanwhile the internetz and Murdoch papers scream
