Of course this is all personal opinion, but if I were to buy saddlebags for a street bike, yes, I would buy hard boxes. Using hard boxes in the woods is the best way I can think of to break your leg. Soft bags only for me on this bike. If you put your foot down to catch yourself and your foot gets pulled backwards, your leg will snap when it comes in contact with that hard case.
The WRR is also the only bike out of any of them you've been looking at that can handle the electrical load of all the heated gear you can plug into it. I just bought mine last winter and oh boy, it's nice. |
