He was demanding her to return a parent permission slip for events on this upcoming Friday and Saturday. Said slip is in her father's possession and it's up to him to sign. It's not due until Thursday.

The interesting part, she has been telling me for a long time how he has a power trip. And, it isn't that I thought she was lieing, it's that she is a teenager and it is prudent to be wary of a teenager's perspective on "that teacher hates me." I chalked the past up to the fact that he's a new teacher that has filled the shoes of a beloved teacher that left a year and a half ago - he's younger [fresh out of college] and has something to prove. Now, I'm not so sure.
