Most of the users I deal with aren't fond of it either, because they never seem to look into it for their programmes. "But Groupwise isn't installed on my system!" "Ummmm, yes it is. Click the start button, then click on All Programs."

Pinning programmes to the Taskbar was a big improvement, for those users, because they would never find anything if it wasn't a shortcut on the desktop or in the old Quick Launch. The tiles thing is just visually overwhelming.
