correct, but i still reinforced it as much as possible. The thing with plastic welding, especially thick pieces, is its very hard to get a complete bond throughout the piece. I've been learning a lot with it though, in preparation for welding the front cowl i bought of ebay. it should be here this week.

All in all i probobly COULD have just put it back together with only the two mounting positions and it would have been okay... but with all this spare time and creativity why not go the extra mile and melt some crazy shit and inhale some toxic fumes.
