Same at my job. Every damn meeting they want to have is right in the middle of my normal sleep pattern. It's usually around 1 or so and unless I can manage to go to bed as soon as I get home, there's no way in hell I'm waking up for it. Of course, it works great for the other 2 shifts. I don't go even try to go to them anymore. I just get with the GM a few minutes before work now. I had to kind of push for that though.

The meetings for registration are always the same. Fridays at 3 or 4pm. Doesn't matter about anything else, it's Friday at 3 or 4 pm. Is it because they're trying to give the night shift time to sleep and catch as much of the day shift as possible? No. It's so the managers buddies who get off at 5 can fuck off for an hour and not have to work and the manager can do the same. I stopped going to them back in August, even though they're "mandatory" There were three meetings in a row where I showed up only to be informed that the meeting had been canceled. Nobody could bother to call me to let me know before hand, just let me drive out there for no fucking good reason. So now I just assume that every registration meeting has been canceled and they forgot to inform me. I'll go to the general ER meetings just because they have yet to cancel on me and I gotta keep good with my new bosses, but registration can suck shit through a straw for all I care.

I work for a Retailer Called Wawa...Norhterners most likely know what it is...its a Convient store but its like a Kickass no bullshit convient store...well anyway

We get to drink free coffee and soda while were at work (which if you think about it saves a SHIT ton of money for someone who likes those things)
