Here we go again. You guys seriously think the first pic looks better than the second? You're on crack. The first one has an ugly seat, ugly headlight, ugly turn signals, and exhaust that's hung too low.

I think you guys are just saying "I hate the new engine so I'm gonna hate its styling too"

I gave up on arguments of that nature on motorcycle boards a long time ago. Don't you know all that that silly mechanical stuff doesn't really matter compared to the primary concerns of the exhaust, fender, and turnsignals?....

That's why I just say I'll check it out & ride it in person.

Semi auto double clutch gearbox with 3 ECU modes including automatic? Probably more ECU processing power than the space shuttle, no doubt the latest gen anti-lock, who knows traction control, ? Think about what these developments could do for the future of motorcycles and how his could be the biggest new thing in decades...
Well when you put it like that it does sound pretty bad ass.

Or watered down.

I bought my Buell with alot of reservation about its looks. I will fix what I can and live with the rest as I value it as a machine over its goofy wide front end.

The new transmission may be awkward at first but I see potential for an F1 type seemless power delivery. The mult cylinder thing may just save gas for now, but may lead to better power quality and delivery later.
how would you like top run 'big bang' twin and then flick a switch and run a staggered fire V4! Then aother flick and you have a real twin or alternaing triple?

Well to me, looks are right up there with how it rides. As for ABS, maybe you guys who commute in the rain might care about it, but I don't.

id completely hate it. motorcycles are the last bastion of vehicular purity. most people drive like pure shit because the car does everything for them. do you really want to usher in a new breed of riders who are that pathetically incapable? arent the ones we have now bad enough? lets not even talk of the weight added by all this nonsense
