I own one pair of sweatpants. I don't wear them often. I can still clip this holster to them I believe. I didn't have a problem with the case on my Treo.

I'm not one to just wear "board shorts". Even if I did they don't normally have pockets and would be an issue carrying a phone.

I never wear a holster, I usually wear cargo shorts/pants or jeans so I just throw it in a pocket.

I have heard way to many problems with lint screwing up the track ball in the Blackberrys from carrying it in the pocket. Plus the Bold 9000 isn't a small phone so It would suck to carry in my pants at work. Plus don't want it in my pocket with my keys and I carry my bank cards in my other front pocket (I don't carry a wallet and even when I do I carry it in my front pocket ever since my road trip to Boston when I was about 17) so holster it is. I like it better there anyway.
