New Direction For M. Night Shyamalan
His new movie looks nothing like his previous works. Looks pretty good, IMO.

I love M. Night... dude's movies are always tough to figure out... but I love that... trying to figure it out... thinking I have it... only to get kicked in the gut when he reveals it...

It is, and it's an awesome series.
I like the look of the preview, but I'm curious how much of the series they're going to condense into the movie plot (or if he'll take it this whole other quirky direction... please don't let it be that)

Yeah, my kids have been watching that cartoon for years so I've caught a bit of it here and there. It really is a good story, but like I said - they've been watching it evolve for years now and he still hasn't saved the world yet. How much are they going to cram into a 2 hour movie?

That is a great question, but the cartoon has such a rich story, history and charachters I dont see how they could do it in a 2hour movie.

By the time he's done with it Aang will be a dead witch that lives in a swimming pool, not knowing that he's dead, and Appa will be a flying bison that swings away in a secret Puritanical compound.
"What a twist!"
