Default $600 AR-15 bargain bin sale

http://cmmginc.secure-mall.com/shop/?shop=1&cat=161&

Regular - $600

Chromed - $650

The good: Price

The bad: You don't get to call and pick what brand you want.

*edit*

Nevermind. There's a pull down tab for $25 gand pick.

I'd rather get a custom kit and a striped lower from someplace like del-ton. I'd get exactly what I want, it would be new, and it would only be a couple hundred more. If you went with their basic kit and basic lower it actually works out to be cheaper.

Doesn't seem too bad, actually. Particularly if you were going to build out a couple of rifles.
You could always break it down and swap parts around.

They say it up front . They aint pretty, If I were going from scratch I would take one of these the only place that is iffy will be head spacing and the bolt and they aren't going to let a bad one out of the shop. worst case you gun coat it and swap the lower for a Branded one.

I wouldn't mind getting one, but odds are I'd end up with a Bushmaster and I'll find out that everyone else got Colts.
