Passenger helmet rubbing paint off tail....
Okay i ride with my passenger helmet quite a lot because i give a bunch of girls rides and i dont want to lose an opportunity to have a fine girl ride with me lol. Anyways since i ride with it so much the helmet rubs at 2 spots and it rubs the clear coat and paint off. Its really getting under my skin. Ive put tape on the spot of the helmet that touches and the bike and on the bike itself but it still rubs through.
So what im asking is how do yall keep your helmet from rubbing so much and damaging the bike? |

Get a steady GF, and have her put the helmet ON.
That oughtta solve that problem, and give you at least 99 more.

I was thinking of getting some clear vinyl and putting it in the bike where the helmet rubs. but how long would that last??? |

If it rubs thru tape it will rub thru clear vinyl. It will take longer if the helmet is fixed tight so it wont swing or vibrate much but will get thru.
You have to mount it to the pillion pad with cargo net or bungees.
