You will love them. Yesterday was the first day I got to really ride mine since the new suspension (to me). It was great. All kind of confidence in the curves. It still needs some fine tuning, but it is a major difference over stock. One thing I have to get used to is the engine braking on the SV

don't congratulate me until I've shoehorned that sucker into the SV
For what it's worth, I now have a brand new shock from a GSXR1000 that I'll toss in there quick to see if it's too short like I think and if it is I'll end up selling it since it's about 10mm shorter than the stock SV shock.

I would skip the gix shock. Just put the 14 in there and be done with it. Does the 14 have the 90 deg or 45 deg resevoir?
