Default Erc

Went through the ERC course tonight. It was a pretty good course, military members only and it was FREE for us!
Myself on the Buell, a guy on a Star and a guy on a HD Fat Bob.

HD rider stood up to the stereotype, slow and dumb, and unable to turn. Super slow through all the corners, and could never remember the patterns.
Star rider was pretty good, but both held me up on the continuous loop events.
Instructor kept telling me to go in 2nd, I just laughed! Everything we did was sub 20 mph, wtf do I need 2nd for!?!?! Never got above 6k in 1st!

Anyway, it was a good time, got me to look through the corners a little better, and not my new tires all scrubbed in

Instructor didn't so much care for my stoppies on the "emergency braking" but loved me hanging off in the wide turn in the corner series.

All in all, worth spending the 4 hours for the course, especially since it was free!

So, anyone else ever taken the ERC?

Bike has to be street legal and licensed to use it in the course.

My instructor kept telling me "brake harder!" in the braking in a turn exercise. So I did, and the back tire came up. We both had a laugh about it after it was over.

Did you all set up the kidney bean shaped road coarse at the end of the class? We did and it was a blast. Pretty much a track day in 1st gear.

Yeah, I started it out and the cruisers followed.
I caught them in a lap... when we switched directions, I asked the instructor if I could pass, he said no.

Join the military, then you don't have to pay for it

I want to take it but haven't yet. It's free for all PA residents.
