1st glove my hands don't get cold in at snowmobile temps which is way colder than you would ever experience on the bike.

Removable liners so you pick the glove weight depending on the cold (I never seem to need the liners). Palms and fingers are just leather for great feel, no slipping on the levers/grips. I wear them deep mountain powder riding so you really need to be able to feel the bars/grips.

Wind break/insulation on the back of the hand where you need it most. Gortex for those rainy days......stay dry digging out of a trench in the snow.

When the weather starts to get chilly in michigan I tuck them in my trunk for the early day or evening riding to keep my hands warm. I hate to have cords attached to me and these work great! Have not tried the battery gloves to see if they are superior.
