What the TSA Patdown Searches Are Really About
You can hardly watch a TV news show, listen to a radio broadcast, pick up a newspaper, or read the Internet without hearing about the aggressive Transportation Security Agency patdown searches at airports.
The TSA and all relevant officials tell us that they’re really for our own protection. But are they? In truth, the searches have virtually nothing to do with increased airport security. http://www.commondreams.org/view/2010/11/23-5

The Underwear Bomber, recruited and supplied by Americans? Wouldn't doubt it.

Fancy how we get the shoe bomber, then we have to take off our shoes. Then comes the underwear bomber and they get to put their hand down our pants.
If someone shoves a bomb up their ass or peehole, I'll take my chances crossing the borders at Mexico, facing a drug cartel and flying out internationally down there before I deal with the TSA after that mess. |

You know, I just read something about the CEO of the company who makes all these backscatter machines being a part of Obama's entourage on his latest trip.
Just like with anything else, folks- follow the money.

I would trust them more if the security measures caught someone in the act, causing us to go through these procedures. But, they were ALL after.

Even these new machines don't catch squat. See the other thread on here about Adam Savage carrying a pair of 12" blades through security. We need less gadgets and more well-trained individuals whose primary focus is safety rather than political correctness.

Man that is some shit - makes complete sense and ties up nicely with a lot of other shit going on.. I know a lot of people call things like this "conspiracy" and the people who are doing it, if they are doing it for the reasons outlined would want the sheeple to believe it is conspiracy because by the time the walmart sheeple figure out what is going on it will be too late.. I have always avoided flying if I can - like this year I drove to Atlanta and Chattanooga - of course hit the gap both times I was there.. But not because I am afraid of the actual flying in the plane - its the hassle at the airport.. Why not just drive and enjoy some good tunes, whatever food you want, stop when you want, etc. Especially if you have the extra time.. Flying blows.. Only good part about it is the time factor..
