Honda RVF
I rode by two red, white, and blue Honda RVF's today that were parked in Golden. RVF? I know the VFR and VTR (Super Hawk), but what's a RVF? I turned around and went by on the other side of the street. Yep, RVF. I turned around and parked next to them.
A young woman had the RVF400 (NC30) from Japan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_RVF400. Her boyfriend had the exact same color RVF750R (RC45). I wish I had my camera. The woman said it was difficult to register the 400 as it didn't have a 17-numeral VIN that the Colorado Motor Vehicle required. I asked why she got it and she said it was either this or a 250 Ninja. The young man started up the RC45 and it sounded great. He turned it off and the woman started her 400. It also sounded great. But both sounded lumpy like V-twins. He admired my GS and said it was in great shape. No, I didn't race them, but those bikes were nice. |

it should be two wheel law to have a camera on your bike at all times...
it looks like it'd be a fun bike to have |

Those were to legends you were looking at. V-fours and have awesome power for such smaller older bikes. A decent shape bike of those models easily go for 16-24 K $$$$. Wish I had the money to buy one. |
