for best results,it should be on an angle. Straight up and down will want to fall off to the side. You know what this reminds me of...Mad Max! Otherwise,I like Colleen's idea of attaching it to the side of your backpack. If you put it inside, whatever secures the top should hold it in place. Anyway, goodluck.

And Tig, thats the problem I ran into with the backpack was it wanting to fall to one side or the other. Im probably going to use tying a rope to it and wearing it like a blade. Last edited by JoJoYZF; 05-20-2008 at 11:01 AM.. |

Cargo net across the passenger seat??
Check out a sporting goods store for a bag made specifically for bats/ baseball equipment. Should be able to find a smallish one to throw on like a backpack. That way it won't move around and it;ll sit lower. If you have the typical long exhaust up the side of your bike, you could always strap the bat to that. Give it some stylish burn marks- or wrap it in foil.

nah, go with the shoulder sling style, thats what I do anytime I need to carry an actual bag, beware tho of it sliding around to your side...

Thats a good point. Hopefully itll stay put for the most part. A lot of the ride is pretty straight so Im hoping it wont slide much. |

anybody know where i can buy a gun rack for my bike?
or ya know, you could just drive. or not take the bat? i mean it cant be that huge of a deal, you're not playing in the minors are you? or better yet, play baseball closer to home. are you gonna ride onto the baseball diamonds and do burnouts to impress the ladies?
