I removed Duct tape glue from leather with cooking oil...somebody was too skinny for the adjustment straps on his jacket and had to duct tape them back. Well, he gained weight and now the straps work, so we had to remove the tape.

I use diluted pledge, and febreeze the hell out of the insides. Done the woolite and water before, but I dont leave it overnight, just drop it in the tub, swoosh around, drain the tub, fill with clean water rinse, conditioner and towel dry, then conditioner again.
